Well today was eventful.... Kelsie decided 4 different times in the middle of the night that she needed to "nuggle" Mommy. Soooo... at random points throughout the night she was either curled up underneath me, patting my back or laying on my head with her arms around my neck ha! Needless to say it was not a very restful night for Mommy.
Once we woke up I (of course) started getting sick. I was sooooo sad about this because we were going to go to a church today that sounded like it would be a good fit for us. Jordan and Kelsie still went but I stayed home and had a date with the bathroom & my pillow.
After church Kelsie needed to "nuggle" her Mommy again so she curled up and took a loooonnnng Sunday afternoon nap with me. She is just too precious!
After our nap I felt great! I was so excited to not feel pukey for once in almost a full week and had a little bit of energy. So I decided I would go and get us Subway for dinner. Well....once in Subway I started to feel a little funny and by the time I checked out I was passed out on the floor. Thankfully the sweet lady behind me helped me. They gave me a cookie and after a few minutes I was feeling a little better and drove back home. I passed out when I was pregnant with Kelsie but at least that time we had a whole group of friends with us. This time it was just me. Not so fun, but I am glad the people were so friendly and helpful.
Sooooo tonight I am back to the couch.... curled up with my favorite IKEA pillow and Mr. Cuddles (aka the most amazing blanket in the world) eating peanut butter crackers and watching the NBA finals (or not) with my Husband ha!
Hoping tomorrow will bring a whole new day of energy!

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things
While laying on the couch today in between my runs to the bathroom, I decided that for the next 30 days I am going to find one thing I like about Kentucky and one thing I like about being pregnant! This pregnancy has definitely not been like my first and I am sick most of the day and all through the night. So I am hoping that this will be a fun way to find some humor in all of the exhaustion!
Fun thing about Kentucky:
The water pressure and my extra long bathtub! ha! My bath today was just heavenly! ha! All I needed were bubbles and jets!!! ha!
Fun thing about being pregnant:
Ummm....this one is a little harder .... ha! I guess today I am liking that my hair is getting longer! ha! Thank you pre-natal vitamins!
Fun Kelsie-ism of the day:
Jordan made me lunch and Kelsie brought it to me while I was laying on the couch. She was so precious...she brought it to me and said "Mommy, I have you bek-fas!" ha! Too, too precious! She was so proud of herself!

Oh The Places You Will Go!
On Monday we started the great task of packing up and heading out to Kentucky! It was a very long, stressful and emotional day but thanks to many family and friends we did it! We could not have done it with out them!
This move has not been the easiest thing ever but we are thankful to the Lord for his provisions! Monday I got a call that our U-Haul was ready. So we drove over to the rental place not even 10 minutes away and when we got there they had no truck for us. They had given it to someone else though they had just called me 10 mins. earlier! Needless to say this was not a wonderful thing....thankfully someone called and cancelled as we were standing there so they ended up giving us a much smaller truck but at least it was something. We got it home and just knew not all of our stuff was going to fit but we were willing to try it. We started to pack it. 20 minutes later U-Haul calls to tell us our truck is ready. Ummmm.....what? We were just there and told they didn't have it. Soooo....after much discussion we head back to U-haul to get the correct truck! whew!
The truck gets packed, the house gets cleaned we hug and say our goodbyes and off to "Tucky" we go!
We spent the night halfway in Charleston, West Virginia, thanks to "Uncle" offering for us to use some of his hotel points! This was such a blessing!
Tuesday morning we get up and head out on the rest of our journey! We arrive to our apartment complex around 2pm. To our surprise they too have "given away" our apartment. Not good when we have 2 cars and a 26 foot U-Haul sitting in front of the leasing office. They scramble to figure out how to solve this problem. After a while of discussion they decide to give us a different apartment that has an extra bathroom and small backyard for Kelsie for the same price. Praise the Lord for working that out! :)
We sign the lease, get the keys and head to start unloading the truck. While unloading we realize that the AC in this apartment is broken. There are pieces to it sitting out all on top of it and it is clear that someone knew it was broken and was working on it. Soooo we call the office, they say someone will be right over. Well, 24 hours, a very hot night, and a baby with a 104 fever later ...they show up to fix it. Hooray!
Today however, we walked across some carpet in the hall that was soaked. Call the office again. Someone comes. Apparently they never fixed it correctly yesterday so now the carpet in the hall & 2 closets is wet and has to be cleaned etc. tom. What a crazy experience!
In the midst of all of this Kelsie has been running a very high fever the past few days due to having hand, foot & mouth disease. I have been dealing with all the wonderful joys of "sickness" and now have a fever!
Needless to say it has been a very stressful few days in the Jones household! We are praying that these first few days will be the hardest and that things will just get better from here!
God will never give us more than we can handle right?!

"Our Lynchburg Family"
For the past 6 years that we have lived in Lynchburg our friends have become more like "family" to us! We have developed life long meaningful friendships that we cherish so deeply. It has been an incredible blessing to be able to share life's struggles, celebrations, highs and lows with one another. Every Tuesday night you will find us piled in our living room for "Trashy TV Night" to watch the "Biggest Loser" or "The Bachelor/Bachelorette". During holidays you can find us all gathered around our "family table" to share a meal together! For birthdays our house is filled with laughter as we play games and celebrate of the life of the one born on that day and anytime there has been a snow storm we have made amazing memories of sleepovers, big breakfasts, lots of games and giggles! I am so thankful for these special people in my life and all that they mean to me! I love you all!

"Appledents", "Ah-Ah's", and "Tweet Tweets" oh my!
Since the day we found out I was pregnant Best had asked me if she could take "baby" to the zoo! ha! So after 2 long years of waiting we took Kelsie to the NC Zoo in Asheboro, North Carolina while Best was visiting for the week of her spring break! We had a blast and Kelsie loved seeing all the animals!
